Passage: Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly[a] with your God.
1. What does the Lord require of you, based on this verse?
2. Share a memorable example of doing one of the three things God requires.
3. There is careful balance between justice and mercy. At times justice is required. At other times mercy is the best choice. That’s where humility comes in. We need God’s wisdom to express these qualities. With that in mind, let’s ask God for discernment to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly–always with him.
