Passage: Philippians 4:6-8
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
1. What is something that is keeping you up at night? Can you think of something that God has done for you in that specific area in the past? Is there an aspect of his character that you need right now (i.e. strength, wisdom)?
2. Thank God for those things that he’s done in the past and for those specific characteristics. Thank him for giving you peace and guarding your heart and mind. Feel free to type/write out a prayer.
3. Praying and replacing our thoughts throughout the day can be very helpful. Based on verse 8, what are some examples you can think about today?
