Passage: Galatians 6:1-4
Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 3 If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. 4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else
- Have you ever confronted someone in a gentle way? How did that person respond? How can pride and condescending words impact forgiveness and restoration?
- How can it be helpful to carry each other’s burdens when you are trying to restore someone? Is there someone who comes to mind that you can restore gently and carry some of his or her burdens?
- It’s exciting to think about what he can do through you in the coming days! Ask for God’s wisdom and strength for your next steps, knowing he will be with you.
