Passage: Joshua 1:8-9
8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
- God wants us to obey him. How does this passage suggest we do that?
- “Meditate” means to think about, or ponder, or reflect. Memorizing a verse in the Bible is one way to meditate. As you memorize a verse, think about what it means and what God wants you to know and remember. Try it by memorizing Joshua 1:8-9. It’s a great way to remember that God is with you.
